Licensing and runtime keys

React Immersive is proprietary software. The package license  and your plan terms govern use. SimpleModelViewer needs no license key in local or production applications. ModelViewer and BindingBuilder require a key and the appropriate plan. The remaining proprietary package terms still apply.

Component and environment requirements

ComponentRuntime licenseKey propLocal evaluationProduction or other non-local use

BindingBuilderRequiredCreate a Free or paid key; some authoring features depend on tierA production-enabled plan and a registered domain are required; features depend on tier

SimpleModelViewer can be deployed to production without creating an account, generating a key, or choosing a paid plan.

For ModelViewer and BindingBuilder, the Free plan is for local development. Starter supports one production domain; Growth supports up to five. Scale terms are arranged with Liveroom. Consult current pricing  for the available plans and feature entitlements for those licensed components.

Create and configure a key for ModelViewer or BindingBuilder

  1. Sign in to the console .
  2. Select the plan appropriate for the environment and features.
  3. Generate a license key. For production, register the application’s domain.
  4. Pass that key to ModelViewer or BindingBuilder. SimpleModelViewer does not accept this prop and does not need this account/key setup.

An agent can prepare the integration without signing into your account. Account access, plan purchases and key issuance require the account holder. Do not reuse the hosted demo’s key in a consuming application.

Local and production domains for licensed components

Local validation recognizes localhost, 127.0.0.1, 0.0.0.0, and hostnames ending in .localhost or .local. A hosted preview URL or LAN IP is not automatically a local-development domain. Production validation checks the request’s browser origin against the registered domains and plan.

Browser-visible configuration

Viewer keys are passed to client components and can be inspected in browser requests or bundles. VITE_LICENSE_KEY and NEXT_PUBLIC_LICENSE_KEY are client-exposed environment variables, not mechanisms for hiding secrets. Use a domain-bound key for the intended application, avoid committing it to a public repository, and keep account credentials, billing tokens and server API secrets out of client code. Revoke or rotate keys through the console as needed.

Package and documentation licenses

The package LICENSE is included in the npm tarball, published as LICENSE.txt , and mirrored as PACKAGE-LICENSE.txt  in the public repository. That mirror describes the npm product’s terms; it does not relicense third-party example models or apply a new blanket license to this documentation repository.
